Automobiles in German City Discovered Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Law Enforcement
Authorities stated they were contacted by a resident who discovered a vehicle in Hanau smeared with red-colored fluid

Approximately 50 vehicles have been marked with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm authorities.

Vehicles, building surfaces and mailboxes were defaced, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they reported in a official communication.

Officers state they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday evening, when a resident noticed that a vehicle in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued liquid.

The fluid had been applied in the form of a swastika, they reported.

Law enforcement then found many other marked vehicles and building exteriors in the nearby vicinity.

Swastikas are banned in Germany under legislation banning the public display of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials state preliminary tests show the substance was probably human bodily fluid.

"There is still no indication as to where it came from; investigators are presently not aware of any injuries in connection with the occurrence," they added.

Municipal representatives announced they were trying "to resolve the mystery" and have requested to the residents for details.

An important political figure commented the attack rendered him speechless and had to be solved promptly.

"This act affects the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the far-right terrorist attack five years ago," he posted on online, recalling the killing of nine people by a assailant aiming at residents of migrant background in 2020.
